What a great time of year. Happy New Year everyone! Have you made any New Year's resolutions, that you are still keeping? Maybe this year you want to be able to call the people who protect your assets and know that you will get a friendly person on the phone, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. In fact, when you call, text, or email us during our extended office hours you will always get me or a member of our extraordinary team. No phone trees or voice mails, just one of us, someone who knows you.

Every member of our extraordinary team is a multi-state insurance licensed, life-experienced professional. Every one of us is also a parent. Across the team we have enjoyed marriages, experienced divorce, suffered the tragic loss of a spouse, a child, and parents. We have suffered total losses to our homes, autos, and recreational vehicles. We do not just offer Auto, Home, and Life insurance. We offer perspective and guidance based upon experience, at the time you need it most, after a loss of your own. One or more of us has been through what you may going through. We are not a call-center selling insurance products. We are people just trying to help other people. We may want to take a little longer to get to know you, in order to be certain that we properly protect you, and get you every discount you deserve. You will get to know us too! When you call us after something bad happens, we will actually know who you are, and you will know each of us. We offer more than insurance, we offer personal support when you need it most.

Yes, the business model has changed. Whether you live in Leesburg or Manassas, Charles Town or Chantilly, we still meet face to face with customers every day in-person and mostly by videoconference. The technology is so good, why not stay home, save the gas money and avoid the traffic? We can visit with each other, share our screens and conduct comprehensive reviews whenever it is convenient for you.

I feel young, but I must be old. I actually had careers in three other industries before becoming a State Farm Agent in Leesburg! I managed national and international businesses in the fields of Small Business Consulting, Medical Technology, and Information Technology. I have been married and divorced, was a full-time single father to two great kids who are now both college graduates in their late twenties.

Born in Wisconsin, I grew up on Northern Indiana, spent most of my life in Southern California, a couple years in Oregon, decades in Virginia, recently Oklahoma, and a few years in Belgium while I was managing Western Europe. The combination of my Professional Experience and my Life Experience provide me perspective that is rare in this industry, and might be valuable in our discussions. I really enjoy talking to people who have moved around like I have.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara, and have a master's degree in Global Leadership and Management from the Thunderbird School of Management at Arizona State University. I have credentials from the American College as a Charted Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consult ant (ChFC), and Retirement Income Consult ant Professional (RICP).

For the past nine years, I have been permanently engaged to an amazing, kind, brilliant woman who is also a little nutty. She is the greatest partner imaginable. In addition to Leesburg, VA we now have a home in Tulsa, Oklahoma where I spend much of my time to be with her while she pursues her doctorate in Experimental Psychology. I travel back and forth, still work regular hours, and visit by phone and videoconference daily. When you come by our Leesburg office, even if I am in Tulsa, I can still join by videoconferencing along with one of my amazing team members!
